Tawas Bay Etchworks is a family owned and operated monument and etching service located in Tawas City, MI.  We have been serving Mid-Michigan and surrounding areas for over 10 years, specializing in engraving monuments, civic memorials and final date inscriptions.  John Bolen, owner of Tawas Bay Etchworks hand crafts each project from beginning layout design work, detailed engraving to the final installation.  Trained by a 3rd generation stone carver, John has consistently developed skills over time.  Laser engraving, 3d shape carving and unique designs have become part of that portfolio.  It is John’s mission to provide the best possible service for clients in their time of need.
